AUCTION 2008 Guidelines
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL
Mardi Gras
The Annual Auction will be held at the Presbyterian Church on Coburg Rd. and Harlow Roads (so we can all fit into one space) on Saturday, March 8, 2008.
Our main purpose is to have a lot of fun and raise money for our church general fund. We will accept checks, in addition to cash (but no credit cards). There will be live entertainment throughout the evening.
There will be childcare, but please let us know soon whether you will need it (and the ages of your children) so we can be sure we have enough personnel on hand. Contact Sue 607-0204.
Doors open at 5pm with the silent auction, boutique, and ticket sales for a drawing on a hand quilted table runner, and on the 1/2 POT OF GOLD. Volunteers will be on hand at the front door to help you get registered with an auction number. Each person who plans on bidding, will need a unique identifying number/paddle. No exceptions.
We hope you will invite your non-UU friends and neighbors - the more the merrier.! We will have some fantastic Antiques for those who love to collect!!! The AUCTION CATALOG will be available at the event, but here is theh online version:

For those who have arranged to bring items for the boutique, you may give them to Sue Craig at church any time ahead of the Auction, or bring them by 4:30 on the 8th to the Presbyterian Church, and take them directly to the Boutique. (Remember: no clothing). By the time you read this, it is too late to submit new items for the Silent and Live Auction.
We will be serving finger foods from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Wine and other beverages will be available. We will end the wine sales at 7 p.m.
All of your purchases will be entered into a computer system so that at the end of the evening you can be given one "bill". In case you need to leave early, you can go directly to the cashier to pay your bill at any time. All items purchased must be paid for and taken home that night. It would help if you brought large shopping bags with handles to transport items home.
