May Sermons
May 5th -- "Van Gogh as Spiritual Guide: Suffering for Sanity" - Don will go in-character to probe the artist's life and gifts. Rev. Don Rollins.
Dennis Reynolds' Ordination. 4:00-6:00. We are honored to be the church who will ordain our friend and UUCE member! Special guests, Rev. Carolyn Colbert, DRE Candee Cole, Janine Larsen from the PNWD. A very special day, please come and wish Dennis well. Chambers Singers will be singing.
May 12th -- Coming of Age Ceremony -- Our Youth will conclude their rites of passage program with a presentation of their personal Credos. Reception after - cake, fruits and veggies -- yum! This is a MULTI-GENERATIONAL SERVICE -- All children invited to join the service. Childcare for under 5s will be provided. Chalice Choir will be performing. Rev. Don Rollins
May 19th -- UU Christianity -- Enjoy Don's discussion about the historical and contemporary links to this religious tradition. The third in his theology series by Rev. Don Rollins. This is also the Senior Youth Bridging Ceremony -- Please come celebrate this great step in our youth's lives to adulthood with DRE Katie Seipert . Sanctuary Choir will be singing.
Building Dedication is from 5:30 to 8:30!!
This long-awaited celebration will be an amazing gathering of community. Don't miss it!!
May 26th -- Memorial Day Service -- Rev. Don will speak on "The Cost of Forgetting" - Edwin Starr famously wrote that war is good for absolutely nothing. This service will be a compound of readings, music and silence about the need to remember that.

Years ago, while a member of UUCE, I received a “call” to ministry. In time I headed off to seminary and a new career. What is this thing we refer to as a “call?” What are you called to do and to be?

This service will focus on Rev. Don's "How're We Doing" sermon. We'll take our year-end look at where we've been and where we're going. And Don will share the future for him and our community.
4/21 – “Missa Gaia, Earth Mass"

Join us for the annual Music Sunday! UUCE’s Sanctuary Choir joined by the First United Methodist Choir celebrate the whole earth as a sacred space. The Missa Gaia melds the Paul Winter Consort’s joyous use of rhythm and instrumentation with the sounds of our natural world.
