We meet just east of the BMX track. It is at the east end of Leo Harris Parkway just before you get back on Centennial. I will have my cell phone turned on after 7:30 AM - 335-1637. The group will decide where to meet for coffee afterward. This area has open fields, woodland, a pond, old orchard and should have a variety of species this time of year. Last week we had 33 species. The weather forecast is party sunny, so I hope it will not be hard rain. Many Eugene birders have been checking the Butte daily for the past ten days for migrants and on mornings when there is cloud cover they have hit the jackpot. So, let's hope there is some cloud cover (but no rain) on Tuesday. The eagle and osprey are both on the nest. Last week after Alton Baker we went to Todd's for breakfast (Broadway and Mill with the BIG yellow roof just off the Ferry Street Bridge). The food was good and it got full approval. I expect we will plan to go back again this week. > > > I will have my cell phone turned on after 7:30 AM if you want to find > out where we are. > 335-1637 > > If it is raining hard, we might just meet and then go to breakfast. > > Judie > _______________________________________________ > Birders mailing list > Birders at uueugene.org > http://www.uueugene.org/mailman/listinfo/birders From judie310hansen at comcast.net Sun Apr 27 10:28:27 2008 From: judie310hansen at comcast.net (Hansen Judie) Date: Sun, 27 Apr 2008 08:28:27 -0700 Subject: [Birders] Tuesday - April 29 Message-ID: Hi Morning Doves This Tuesday we will be birding in Alton Baker Park - meet at 8 AM in the parking lot next to the Community Gardens and Nearby Nature.
