[Birders] Tuesday Birding - November 27

Hi Birders -

A BIG FAT APOLOGY to everyone for NOT sending out a notice of where we  
would be today for birding.  Last Tuesday I sent a note to Martha  
Osgood to include in the Weekly Update and thought it had gone to  
everyone.  I realized last night after 10 PM that I had not sent it  
when I got three e-mails asking where we were going.

We were back at Parking Lot 9 behind Autzen Stadium again today and  
the birding was outstanding - 33 species!  Highlights were varied  
thrush, stellar jay, brown creeper, bewick's wren, downy woodpecker,  
gobs of ruby-crowned and golden-crowned kinglets, golden-crowned  
sparrows and a Kestral that dive bombed a flock of juncos right in  
front of us.

NEXT WEEK	 - November 27 - we will return to Parking Lot 9 behind  
Autzen Stadium and will meet at 8 AM.  For those of you only  
interested in breakfast, we will be at the Fifth Street Market food  
court between 9:45 and 10:00 AM.
