Intrepid is a word that comes to mind.

While you are all mucking about in the wilderness, I will be basking in
an atmosphere of intellectual superiority at Cindy's monthly poet's
soiree.  I also expect to find Cindy's cat Rumford preening his whiskers
after a nocturnal kill.  For those of you who don't read Share:  a mouse
climbed on board Cindy Pitcairn's wheelchair during her yoga class at
the Y and could not be dislodged.  He accompanied her to Yumms, and
ducked under a credenza when she returned home.  Rummy assumed the
position, and Cindy expects a denoument sometime during the night. Hope
