Mary, I'm sure Sue';s reason for the auction venue is so it can 
accommodate more people. I haven't gone for the past two years at our 
church because of overcrowding and the problem that poses for a wheelchair.

For the time being, any representative of a committee will do. They are 
apparently thinking in terms of cluster groups instead of the full-size 
council we now have.

As to the CC taking over responsibilities for committees, I believe it 
was decided previously that committees will now make quarterly reports 
to the CC. Maybe Ken or maria has a better understanding of whether this 
is still in flux or not. I don;t believe it was addressed directly at 
Saturday's meeting.
