Hey cool, Cindy, and thanks for going to that CC meeting yesterday. I
spent all day at the HRC process retreat. I'm going to call Sue C and
talk to her about the location for the service auction. I'm really
disappointed that its not at our church and wonder why; space, maybe? 
I encourage everybody to be thinking of possible agenda items for our
next meeting, which is just a couple weeks hence.  what I have so far
are an update on the instalation, which I should have hot off the
press, due to attending the task force meeting just before our meeting.
and then there is the matter of brain storming items under each of our
stated charges, which is a hold over from last meeting.  Of course, we
will want candle lighting, brief check in and a  brief reading. Does
anybody have a short reading they'd like to share along with the candle
lighting?  

Cindy, did they do anything at the CC meeting yesterday with regard to
rules on who from the various committees is suppose to attend metings
of that body? i.e. are they asking chairs or chairs elect to attend? Or
can it be anybody? And was there any decision made on the CC taking
over responsibility for committees, rather than the board?
