Fundraising
The church is now enrolled for Escrip, a fundraising tool which gives UUCE a portion of money spent by church members at local participating stores, namely Safeway and Market of Choice.
Our next step is to get members, friends, neighbors, and whoever else wants to benefit the church to sign-up. Below are the steps required to sign-up online.
As we learn more about Escrip, more information will be provided for other ways to use it to benefit the church. For now, let’s get started!
For those without computer access, paper sign-up sheets are available in the office and the social hall.
Go to http://www.Escrip.com
1. Under “Make a difference in 4 easy steps”, click on “Sign up, it’s free!”
2. This takes you to a page that says, “Search to see if your group is enrolled with the program.” Click the circle for “Group ID”
3. In the bar below, type in 9615102 and click “search”.
4. On the next page, click on “Unitarian Universalist Church In Eugene”
5. On the next page, click “Next”.
6. On the next page, fill out your information and click “Next”.
7. On the next page, select cards and fill in numbers IF you have any there. Click “Next”.
8. Register credit or debit cards, and click “Next”
9. Register retail or gift cards.
Notes: You must have at least one credit card registered to complete sign-up. You must use THAT credit card for purchases to count.
Locally, when shopping at Safeway, use your Safeway loyalty card for purchases to count as contributions, but at any local Market of Choice, all you need is your credit card.
