Question Mark on the Lawn: Who Are We Really?

Rev. D. Björn Olson

Sunday, 1 August 2010

We UUs have often made jokes about ourselves for years and one of them is about placing a burning question mark on a Unitarian Universalist lawn rather than a cross to show anger or dissatisfaction. Maybe it is not a joke. A question mark can indicate burning questions concerning social actions and a variety of other relevant topics. Or, it can indicate "who cares" or "we really don't know who we are nor what we believe." Björn Olson will talk about the importance of the Unitarian Universalist church with an exclamation point on who we are and the history of what we have become. A challenge to all UUs.
