The Unitarilist Fun Organization (UFOs) is an intergenerational group dedicated to building community within our church through service, socializing, and physical activity.

FOOD FOR LANE COUNTY NIGHT ("Radish Rescue")
At 6:30pm on the 2nd Friday of each month, UFO participants (over 14) meet at the Food for Lane County warehouse at 770 Bailey Hill Road. We repackage unused food from dorms, restaurants, & grocery stores that otherwise would be thrown away. The food is distributed to hungry people in our community. Wear a hat or ponytail, closed shoes, and bring a sweater.

Healthy Canned Food Suggestions for donations to Food for Lane County:
• Low-fat peanut butter • Low-sugar jam and jelly • Canned diced or whole tomatoes • Corn meal • Packaged brown rice • Canned or dried beans (pinto, navy, kidney or red) • Canned tuna fish, chicken or salmon • Packaged dried fruit • Low-sugar canned fruit • Unsweetened apple sauce • Low-sodium broth • Olive oil • Chili or Refried beans • Canned stew • Canned spaghetti sauce with meat • Spaghetti noodles • Corned beef or Spam...

CIRCLE SUPPERS/DINNERS FOR EIGHT
Share a meal with a small group of fellow UU's. Hosts provide a space for these special dinners. Each guest signs up to bring a dish to share. This is a fun way to meet new people and deepen existing relationships.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
Hikes, snow trips, game nights and more. Suggest an activity and we will find the guests!

   Morning Doves listserv - UUs and their friends who meet weekly for exercise, birdwatching, and breakfast.

Breakfast Club - Bcluub listserv 
   Group of young people (20s-40s) who have or enjoy kids and can socialize with them around. We have lunches after Sunday services about 2x/mo, potlucks, bowling, etc. Summers incl. camping/hiking. We aim to do service and integrate into the rest of congregational life while enjoying our "parties".

   SpontaneUUs!! .... local Eugene area UU members and friends -- Activities, dinners, parties, hikes, raft trips, meeting at movies or concerts, dances, art walks, fun!......The listserv is open to UUCE members and friends or people who have participated in UUCE activities. You can check with moderator for more info. This list is for people to announce an event or activity and then discuss logistics and details.

Thundereggs - women over eighty and their younger friends
     No listserv, but we've met every Thursday afrom 2-4pm since 1997. Drop ins welcome! We meet in the back room at Tsunami Bookstore and there's always water for hot tea.
