    THRESHOLDS LITERARY JOURNAL 

Guidelines for Submission       

Lotus

  Poetry - Please submit up to 3 poems, up to 35 lines in length each.

   Prose - Please submit up to 2 pieces of prose that is no more than 500 words in length (or 50 lines if in poetry form). Prose may be prose poetry, or short fiction.

   Artwork and Photography - Please submit up to 2 pieces of art. Must be submitted in either JPG or JPEG format as an attachment to email, or snail mail a copy 8 ½ x 11 inches.

   Please include your name, mailing address, email address (if you have one) and a brief bio or thoughts on your work, no more than 25 words. Let us know which categories you are submitting to. If you submit both poetry and prose please put the category at the top of the pages in the right hand corner.

   All work must be previously unpublished original work. Authors/artists retain the rights to their work and receive a free copy of the edition that includes their work.

   Subscriptions to Thresholds are $15 a year (includes three issues) or you may purchase for $5 a copy. For more information on subscriptions please contact Laura Jameison.
