The Web Team is charged to provide members, friends, and visitors a current, electonic reflection of the mission, purpose, life and philosophy of the UUCE.

Meeting Began 4:30
1. It was discussed and agreed that Elizabeth Weber compose a letter to the Executive Committee to state the Web Team's opinion as follows:
It is essential that the UUCE hire a web manager for 15-20 hours a week year round. Theweb manager will maintain the UUCE web page which is our public and congregational interface. The budget for the web manager will be approximately $15,000 annually. Additional costs to the UUCE include an annual Internet Service Provider fee and domain name fee of approximately $150. A probable one-time cost for a computer and software would be approximately $1000.
The letter may contain our opinion that a web manager be hired before any restoration of pay cuts for current staff. Elizabeth will email the draft of the letter to the Web Team for final approval. Any second thoughts on the letter's content will be heard and, if needed, the letter will be edited to consensus.
2. Each Web Team member will email Elizabeth a 2-3 sentence summary of the web management and publication production experience each brings to the Web Team. Elizabeth will include this information in the email that accompanies the formal letter to the Executive Committee.
3. It was decided to recommend that the UUCE staff, rather than the web manager, manage the Weekly Update and listservs. Staff may decide to delegate management to volunteers.
4. Members of the Web Team (volunteers) will continue to upload committee and Board minutes and minimal web page content changes. As we upload content into the new template, links (hidden content) and dated content will be reviewed for relevancy.
5. The Web Team carefully reviewed Elizabeth Weber's organization of the new site's Menu Bar, Drop-Down Menus, and Fly-out Menus. It was agreed there will be six Menu Bar headings as follows: Unitarian Universalism, Visitors, Congregational Life, Education, Current Events, and Leadership. No order was decided. It was agreed that a link to "Home" be placed on each page in a left-hand sidebar. The sidebar on each page will contain no more than four links relevant to that page. Elizabeth will revise the organizational chart and email to the Web Team for final approval.
10. Elizabeth Weber continues to sort through UUCE photos for inclusion on the web page.
11. Ann Fuller continues to upload committee minutes/content changes as requested. Once a new template is chosen, Ann will begin to move content onto new pages for WebTeam approval.
