Unfortunately funds are not available to cover committees or other events. If you need childcare for a special event, ask your committee or group leader if the group can help fund it. And attached separately is the Account Transfer Form for groups that need to pay for their own childcare. This form helps you get the money from your account into the childcare line. (Current budget covers childcare for Congregational meetings, BPOC All-Church meetings, New Member Orientations, and Children's/Youth R.E. trainings.) (one page)

CANDEE COLE'S SABBATICAL
Candee, Director of Religious Education (DRE) is on sabbatical through the end of May 2010. Candee was accepted into graduate school at the University of Oregon and will be working on a Masters in Special Education this next year. One of her goals in this endeavor is to be able to create a Ministry in our church community that reaches out to families with children with disabilities. The hope is that our program can im prove our outreach and classroom support in this way. She will be taking a five month sabbatical to complete her program in the Winter and Spring of 2010, as
well as rejuvenating herself and her creativity. She plans to return filled with ideas, renewed energy and a creative passion that will benefit the whole UU family! We greatly appreciate Marika Banyacski, The RE Committee and the many volunteers who help cover for Candee while she is on Sabbatical.
