DIRECTIONS AND MAP

Accessibility We are wheelchair-friendly (a ramp to the main level from the parking lot, a paved path leading down to the office and classrooms, plus two large open bathrooms on the main level and one on the lower level). Although we are working on it, some exterior thresholds may be difficult to cross in a chair: please ask for help. We offer two Braille hymnals and large-print Orders of Service. Please ask. We also have a good hearing assistive sound system that works with certain hearing aids or with headphones. We audio-tape each Sunday's service. The website is intended to be useful for screen readers. Text size too small? At the top of your Internet browser, click on "View", then click on "Text Size" and select a larger size, or hold down the Command or Control button and the Shift button, then press the Plus sign (+). This last works for received email messages too. If we can be more helpful, please call the office or speak to an usher on Sunday morning. It matters and we care.

Willamette Street is the east/west dividing line in Eugene. At 7th Street, it heads south though the center of downtown all the way to Spencer's Butte. The UU Church is located near the northeast corner of 40th and Donald in southeast Eugene. (Donald branches off Willamette Street at about 32nd or you can keep on and turn left from Willamette at 40th).

From the west, go east till you reach Willamette Street, turn right and head south to the fork at 32nd, take Donald (the left fork) over the hill to 40th, turn left on 40th, and we're on the left.

From the east, go west till you reach Willamette Street, then turn left and head south to the fork at 32nd, take Donald (the left fork) over the hill to 40th, turn left on 40th, and we're on the left.
Or
From the north, cross the river into town, then aim for the center of downtown. When you reach Willamette Street, turn left and head south to the fork at 32nd, take Donald (the left fork) over the hill to 40th, turn left on 40th, and we're on the left.

Bus Directions:

Bus #24 from the downtown Eugene Station leaves at :00 every hour beginning at 9:00am Sunday mornings and arrives at 40th and Donald streets, a half block from the church, ten minutes later. Return rides begin at 9:24am and every hour thereafter.

The first #73 on Sunday leaves from the downtown Eugene Station at 8:30am on Sunday. It stops at 40th and Donald going south, but does not come back up Donald. You can catch the #24 back north to the Eugene Station.

An "Honored citizen" free pass is now offered to people 70 years and older. At one time it was given just to those 80 years and older. A few of us use the bus regularly and welcome others, especially in light of our 7th Principle and the desire to reduce consumption of fossil fuels.
